Artist’s notes

Inspired by the salmon leaping at an old Mill on the River Test near Romsey in Hampshire and with a thought for discarded man-made objects that might have found their way onto a riverbed. Made from Crank clay the sculpture was treated with oxides and and coloured with underglazes .
