Artist notes

Inspired by that moment of when the hare catches a scent on the wind this is the second hare I have made. The hare and its base were constructed using a smooth and grogged stoneware clay,  fired and treated with oxides and some underglaze colour to highlight a pinkish blush inside the ears and white under the tail. This piece was exhibited in the St Barbe open exhibition 2022 in Lymington.
